POE provides education, workshops, and initiatives around prevention for many gender-based oppression social problems such as sexual assault and relationship violence.
The GSCC has safer sex and menstrual supplies, sharps disposal, CAPS connect, writing center liaison, education resources from partner organizations, a library, and lots of cool programs throughout the year!
This office educates on how to prevent, identify, respond to and report discrimination, harassment, stalking, sexual assault, relationship violence, and conducting proper investigations under MSU’s Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct and Title IX and MSU’s Anti-Discrimination Policy. They also connect people to campus and community resources regarding the highlighted issues.
GenCen houses the Women and Gender Studies and LGBTQ and Sexuality Major and Minors. They also provide opportunities for education abroad, mentoring in research, internships, and community engagement through events.
