Other Offices that Promote Equity On Campus

  • Prevention, Outreach and Education 
    • POE provides education, workshops, and initiatives around prevention for many gender-based oppression social problems such as sexual assault and relationship violence.
  • The Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC)
    • The GSCC has safer sex and menstrual supplies, sharps disposal, CAPS connect, writing center liaison, education resources from partner organizations, a library, and lots of cool programs throughout the year!
  • Student Veterans Resource Center 
    • The SVRC is a place for student veterans and their immediate family to seek support for educational, career, and personal advancement.
  • Student Parent Resource Center 
    • The SPRC is a space to support and connect student parents and their families with information and resources.
  • Office for Civil Rights and Title IX Education and Compliance
    • This office educates on how to prevent, identify, respond to and report discrimination, harassment, stalking, sexual assault, relationship violence, and conducting proper investigations under MSU’s Relationship Violence and Sexual Misconduct and Title IX and MSU’s Anti-Discrimination Policy. They also connect people to campus and community resources regarding the highlighted issues.
  • Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities 
    • RCPD assists with connecting and informing students, faculty, and staff about resources and accommodations on campus.
  • Center for Gender in a Global Context (GenCen) 
    • GenCen houses the Women and Gender Studies and LGBTQ and Sexuality Major and Minors. They also provide opportunities for education abroad, mentoring in research, internships, and community engagement through events.
  • Center for Survivors
    • The Center for Survivors is dedicated to working with sexual assault and sexual violence survivors. The center for provides free individual counseling, advocacy, support groups, and crisis intervention. 24/7 Crisis Hotline: 517-372-6666 
  • Office of Cultural & Academic Transitions (OCAT)
    • OCAT provides inclusive communities for students to connect and engage through different events and programs.
  • Women's Advisory Committee for Support Staff 
    • Advocates to the MSU’s Chief Diversity Officer on behalf of women support staff.
